Intervention areas

RUWA-Ghana works in three (3) thematic areas, namely: women’s economic empowerment and livelihood, gender and good governance, and health. In a quest to effect social change in deprived and underserved communities in Ghana, our program activities are geared towards improving the situation of rural and urban communities in Northern and Upper West regions of Ghana through empowerment and advocacy, combating all oddities in a bid to ensure the improved living conditions of local and urban community members, particularly women and their families are realized.
