RUWA-Ghana Celebrates AU Anti-Corruption Day in a Church and Educational Institutions in Wa and Tamale.

The AU Anti-Corruption Day 2023 was marked by RUWA-Ghana with series of sensitization activities on corruption related issues.The Cecilia Catholic Church and Wa Technical Senior High School (SHS) were the places the occasions took place. In Tamale, the activity took place in the Gbambaya Zahariya Junior High School (JHS).

On Sunday, July 9, 2023, the Cecilia Catholic Church in Wa hosted a team from RUWA-Ghana who sensitized the congregants and created awareness of the AU Anti-Corruption Day which was to be marked throughout Africa on July 11, 2023.

On July 11, 2023 which is the climax of the celebration, RUWA-Ghana sensitized the Wa Technical Senior High School in Wa and the Gbambaya Zahariya Junior High School in Tamale. In both occasions participants were addressed on the AU Anti-Corruption Day Celebration Under the theme “Africa Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption, 20 years after: Achievements and Prospects.”
